A habitat is where things live.It's more than a home,it's more like a neighborhood.For an animal a habitat includs all the land that animals need to hunt,gather food,find a friend and raise a family.A shady area supports different species of trees and shrubs than an area with bright sunlight.

This is a dog,it lives with its owner at home ,they eat dog food.They like to go on walks,playing and running alot.

This is a giraffe,it eats mostly grass/plants and they live in zoo's.

Giraffes have big brown spots and an enormous neck!!!

They have a purple tongue and its very sticky and wide.
